Our story

Fifty years of showing up on site, before sunrise

ThaykaydarSaab is not a startup that discovered construction. It is a contracting family that decided the way people build in Pakistan deserved to be more honest, better documented and far less frightening.

How we got here

1970s

Ahmad & Co. opens its first site office

A single contracting crew in Rawalpindi, working on government housing and private plots with hand-drawn BOQs.

1990s

The second generation takes the trowel

Expansion into Islamabad's new sectors — grey structure, finishing, and the first long-term material partnerships.

2001

Hammad Ahmad joins the site

Third generation, starting as a helper on his father's projects long before he ever signed a contract.

2019

The book takes shape

Twenty-five years of site notes distilled into Let's Become Thaykaydar, written for families building once in their lives.

2024

The Olive Hill Cottages

Our flagship project in Manga — proof of the standard we hold ourselves to when nobody is watching.

What we refuse to compromise on

Rates you can verify

We show you the invoice, not a rounded number.

One crew, one standard

The same foreman quality on a 5 marla as on a hillside resort.

Finish what we start

No abandoned sites. Ever. It is the only reputation we have.

Come and find us

Walk into the office, call the desk, or send an email — all three reach the same small team.

Meet the man behind it

Hammad Ahmad has spent 25 years on scaffolding, in cement dust and across negotiation tables. His story explains ours.
